The legendary Paul McCartney will be honored as the 2012 MusiCares Person of the Year during Grammy Week. The annual gala benefits the MusiCares Foundation, which provides health and human services programs for music people.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Showtime will air “The Love We Make,” a documentary that chronicles Paul McCartney’s journey through the streets of New York shortly after the World Trade Center’s destruction, as well as the benefit, “The Concert for New York City.”

A stellar lineup for Neil Young’s annual Bridge School Benefit Concert has been announced in honor of the 25th anniversary. Mumford & Sons, Beck, Dave Mathews and, of course, Neil Young are also set to perform at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, Oct. 22-23.

The event will take place two days before the 53rd annual Grammy awards on Feb. 11 in Los Angeles. Streisand will close the night with a performance.
