The Weekly Comet Internet TV Show Is Back With New Season

Season Two of The Weekly Comet Internet TV music variety show, co—hosted by The Comet founder Tamara Conniff and music exec Jonathan McHugh, will kick off Feb 2 at 2pmPT. This season features a weekly segment by KCRW’s tastemaker Jason Kramer. Check out the pilot!

On this season’s pilot episode of The Weekly Comet iconic rocker Barry Adamson performed two songs off of his new album, “I Will Set You Free,” and talked about working with director David Lynch. The show’s co-host Jonathan McHugh gave insight into this year’s Sundance Film Festival and discusses his experience music supervising the highly-anticipated documentary “West of Memphis. The film, which features music by Eddie Vedder and Nick Cave, tells the tale of three youths who were falsely imprison for 19 years. The Weekly Comet also introduced a new segment by tastemaker KCRW DJ Jason Kramer, whose first artist to watch pick featured new band Howler.

The Weekly Comet, shot in HD live from Hollywood, is a music and entertainment show that features live musical performances, news of the week and high level guests including composers, music supervisors, producers, and entertainment executives as well as tons of interaction with the live chat room.
